Hi. I need help badly. I cannot connect to my network unless I am in safe mode. When I am running normally, it says I have limited network access, then if I troubleshoot, it says there are no connections available. Occasionally, instead, it will say that the driver is messed up for the network adapter. So, I went and downloaded the driver, completely uninstalled the original one, and reinstalled it. It keeps doing the same thing. When I go into device manager, and click to update the driver that way, it says I can't and gives me code 31. About 50% of the time, as soon as I try to troubleshoot or update the driver, the whole thing freezes. The odd thing about it is that in safe mode it works fine! I get no problems at all with it in safe mode, so if it was the driver wouldn't it also be messed up in safe mode?! If you can help me, send me an email [e-mail].

Iwent through a similar problem with my HP Pavillion PC.  Is your adapter attached by a USB?  The problem  was having had to do with the adapter which was attached to bottom of my pc and it was split. I had to purchase another adapter.  I also found that some of the network services were not running.

Try checking your services, then check the advanced sharing,  I hope it gets better for you. I am no pro but I have learned a lot.
