I published an WPF .exe using VS2012 and runs fine on my desktop Windows 8 (same desktop that contains VS2012). I  loaded the exe file on to my Surface Pro and it will not run. Nothing happens. No errors. Tried using Click once deployment. Nothing happened again. Tried searching for security issues...no luck there.  Note: My Surface pro will run Winform exe's created in VS2010. Thank you in advance.

More info...when I run the trouble shooter the message reads program incompatible. As a test, I also loaded VS2012 express on the surface pro, built  and ran a wpf exe that contained just a button and it ran ok. BUT I did get a message when opening VS 2012 that read "this program is incompatible. would you like to run anyway?". So it seems VS2012express  and the surface pro/windows 8 have a compatibility issue?
