我创建了一个边缘扩展。它是zip文件。但是当我上传到Windows商店时。它会给我一个错误，它应该是以下扩展文件之一（.xap，.appx，.appxbundle或.appxupload文件）。

我知道，扩展需要通过某种方式构建。但我无法找到构建扩展的方法。我不知道以下哪一个（.xap，.appx，.appxbundle或.appxupload）是边缘扩展的输出文件格式。任何人都可以指导

Hi Everyone, 

I have created a extension for edge. It is zip file. But when i upload it on windows store. it will giving me error that it should be one of following extension files (.xap , .appx, .appxbundle or .appxupload files).


I know that, extension need to build through some way. But i am unable to find the way to build the extension. I am not know that which one of the following(.xap , .appx, .appxbundle or .appxupload) is the output file format of edge extension. Can any one guide me that how i can build edge extension?

Hello,

I find the answer at Microsoft Edge FAQ of extensions page, so you might need to submit a request here and wait for the update first.

You may also refer to this blog and check the response from @Kyle Pflug(Program Manager of Microsoft Edge).

So, you're not able to submit your submission at this time but you could sideload the extensions by checking the documentation on Git Hub.
