Hello all,

We met the problem for the Server System under Test (SUT) Requirements on server certification.

We intercept the paragraph for SUT requirements from MS website below,

 

One hard disk drive to be used for installing the operating system. This hard disk drive should have two partitions. Partition 1 should have at least 1.5 GB, and less than 5 GB, of space that is configured as Active, System. Partition 2 should have at least 40 GB of space (or the Windows Server minimum requirement) that is configured as Boot, Page File, Crash Dump.

We would like to know how can we set the size of partition 1(as Active, System) at least 1.5 GB ?

We try to partition in disk management or partition disk when installation OS, but the both ways can’t change the size of system reserved(as Active, System).

Hello,

While Installing the OS, you have to create the partition of min. 40 GB , on which you'll install the install. After OS installation, free space will be there on same Hard disk. So, on free space , you have to create one more partition as mention above.
