I want to use Microsoft Expression pro 4 as a streaming server to capture the desktop.  It is found that the MP2 or WMV video shows black screen when captured by Expression in desktop.  As i know in the Microsoft airticle, disabling the hardware acceleration can solve this problem.  However,  i need to use Directx to display text and video at the same time.  When i disable the hardware acceleration and result in text not being able to display.  Do you have any solution to fix this problem to capture desktop and stream it out with displaying text and video?  I am using Windows XP 32 bit (SP3).

Lin can correct me on this, but I'm pretty sure this will not be possible on an XP environment. You'll need to upgrade to Vista or Windows 7 to be able to use hardware acceleration in the screen capture application.
