I am attempting to create a report from a SQL Server database with a column declared as type 'TEXT'.

My problem is that I am always getting two pages for my report even when there is only a single line of text in the TEXT column.

I have tried using a formulae to cast to type string, to TRIM the whitespace and getting the length and extracting using LEFT. So far no avail.

Can anyone provide any advice on how to handle this?
