After Februarys 2018  Windows "update", I have not been able to open QuickBooks 2018. I can't repair it from within Windows, I can't un-install or repair from the software disc. I get error codes 1712 and 1926. Today I ran a diagnostic tool and it said I am missing C:\USERS\PUBLIC\DESKTOP. I looked and it's gone. So, my question is how do I create this folder so other programs will recognize the folder?

Well unless you believe you can use Visual Basic .Net and write a program to correct the issue somehow then perhaps you should find an appropriate forum to ask for assistance in.

Perhaps try Support Windows 10 and use one of their Forums for assistance.
