Using the catalog manager, how do I create a new language and have the properties in the new language be populated from the source language.

That is, I have a catalog with English content. I create a new language and all the fields are empty. I want it to be populated with the English texts.

One simple and lengthy approach is to copy text in english language to your desired language (fr-FR) using commerce server catalog manager tool.

The other approach is to create a small utility which reads product in en-US andfr-FR language. Copy the property values from en-US object to fr-FR object and save the  object to persit the changes to DB.

The non recommended approach is to update the data directly in database.
