All I want to do is connect two boxes in vizio 2003 with the connector tool. They aren't straight across, so it needs to go to the right, then up, then right again. For some reason, Visio wants to run the connector where it wants it, not where I want it, and it is driving me crazy. I've gone to page setup, and selected a few different Routing Style Options, with no luck.

I want to post pictures, but this forum won't let me because my account isn't verified.... Another dumb obstacle to get over.  

I just want to start a line, drag the line up to where I want, how I want, not have Visio think of a "better" way of routing the line, then click the end of the line, and drag it over to the box on the right.
