I have now created an Anwer File using the Image Configuration Editor and would like to test what I've been configuring. Under Tools->Create Media I have three options "Create IBW IMage with full Distribution Share...", Create Windows PE Image.." and "Create IBW Image From Answer File...". I was thinking that they will create me an bootable image file which I could load into my VMWARE and Install Windows 7 Embedded with it, but all of them just create folders. I am ashamed but I have to ask how I get this into a bootable image? I'm sure that there must be something I missunderstood or some tool I don't find in Image Configuration Editor, but I don't find it nor I find something in the documentation about that.

You want to select "Create IBW Image From Answer File...".  You then have to create an ISO image using the OSCDimge.exe tool found with the WE8S tools. You can then mount the ISO into VMware.
