Hi all,

I follow posts regarding AD & Exchange related issues. Some have mentioned that its NOT recommended to have both on same server. However one of my client having only one server with both AD & Exchange running on the same server. They are now asking us to upgrade the OS from Windows Server 2003 to Windows server 2008 r2.. I am aware that we can perform an In-place upgrade for an AD server. But, my question is can we do a In-place upgrade for a server which is consist of AD & Exchange. The version of Exchange is 2007 and Windows Server 2003 SP1 and their Active Directory version is 2003 r2. Kindly Assist.
