any time for last 24 hours when I try to "Create a new app" I'm getting error after I press "Reserve app name":

I am getting exactly the same problem. It ticks to say I can register the name but then like you one gets an error try later. Would seem one can try until one is blue in the face. Still seems a lot of work and corrections needed in the new store.
