Hi,

i am new to windows embedded. i am trying to use target designer tool to come up with customized windows xp OS. i am using 3 PCI bus modules. They use DMA to trasfer data to host in a multi threading model. basically application is data acquisition. i would ilke get some pointers on what components i need to accomplish this. i try to delete components sofware keep adding them. Thanks for all your help.

Hopefully, you are using WES2009, which is the latest release of XP Embedded. The best approach is to start small and go big. Pick and choose only the features that your application and system requires. Start with the device drivers to build a solid platform.
