Hello,

We're making a prototype using Windows 10 IoT Core running on a Raspberry Pi 3. The prototype will be on a car and for data transfer we need an internet connection. 

We are trying to configure a Huawei Dongle, I know that the only dongle that work is the K5150 apparently but we can't use it because we use different 3G/LTE bands.

Please I need help figuring out how to make the dongle work, IoT recognize the USB like "Huawei Mobile"

If the dongle wont work, Is there any alternative to make an internet connection?. I think that this type of functionality is mandatory to make IoT relevant to developers and companies.

its part of the Hardware Manufacturer to decide if they want to support Windows IoT Core on their devices or not

if they decide to support it they must provide a required drivers to use their devices

If the dongle wont work, Is there any alternative to make an internet connection

you could use one of the various UART or SPI based modules

additionally because the K5150 is the only one included in Hardware compatibility list you could use the Feedback Hub App for a Feature Request with your usage scenario and the problem you are facing
