I am tasked by boss to create a Tool Sign in / Sign out log and the best tool that I have is Microsoft Access 2003. I have created a form that is linked to a table, and the form has the following entries: Date (auto date), Employee number, Department number, and Tool number.  My question is, I want to have a screen that is displayed before the form with two buttons: "Tool Sign In" and "Tool Sign Out", or should the "buttons" be on the form? How do I do this, or can someone recommend a book that I can buy that will teach me how to do this?
