I am trying to load Windows 10 IOT onto an RPi 3 for the first time.  When I tried to do that through the dashboard it failed at the point of flashing the SD card.  So I went onto the forum and as a result downloaded the ISO file and installed that manually, and then as instructed went to flash the ffu file for the RPi 2 (not 3, is that significant?) onto the SD card which apparently worked.  Then I put the SD card into my RPi3, which had a monitor on it and booted it up using the official RPI3 power supply (max 2.5Amps).  All I got was a multi coloured screen.

After searching the internet I tried again a couple of times then decided to reformat the SD card and start from scratch and at that point discovered the SD card was apparently only 64 MB.  The basic windows folders were on the SD card but most were empty, is that right? It was a brand new card so I took it back to the shop and they gave me another.  I checked it first and it was 16GB but after going through the process again, exactly the same result including that the formerly 16GB SD card was again only now 64MB.  Anyone got a clue what is going on here?  This was supposed to be easy but has turned into a nightmare!

Hi, have subsequently found out that the 64MB is the FAT partition that I can see on my laptop so maybe that is OK but still doesn't explain why I was unable to flash the SD card as part of the default process, i had to select Custom instead and still doesn't explain why with the finished SD card the RPi wont boot, just shows a coloured screen which apparently means it has failed to boot from the word go.  Any ideas?
