When does the user's IP address get stored anywhere in Commerce Server?  When they register, add items to their cart, or check out?  How can I access this data?  I was reading that it's being stored here:

CS does not store it natively on SQL.... but if you enable IIS logs to track Ip address and cookies and so on, you can use the datawharehouse module to match data of profiles with IpAddresses so you can have all the information that you need.
my personal suggestion is to go with a web analytical tool if you need a proper analytical solution cost effective and easy to integrate with Advertising and digital campaigns.
