When I first installed and started using Expression Encoder the files that were created using the transcode feature were in the neighborhood of 45,000 to 55,000 KB.  I changed some of the settings and now the files are from 250,000 to 450,000 KB.  I've removed and reinstalled Expression Encoder several times to try to get back to the default settings that were initially in the program.  It seems like the changes I made are still stored and being used even after the reinstall.  I cannot find any presets that need to be removed or any settings that will reset the the program to the original default state.  Any suggestions as to what needs to be removed or reset would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

First option: Click on the cog in the Encode pane and choose "Reset"

Second option (aka sledge hammer style): delete the config files in "C:\Users\<YourUserName>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Expression\Encoder 4". If I remember right, user.config stores all the settings, layout, past projects filenames, etc, while filter.config persists which codecs is enabled or not.
