The fill element of a VML shape has color and color2 attribute whose opacity can be changed by opacity and opacity2 attribute. It also has a colors attribute which allows to define multiple colors for gradient fill. How can we change the opacity of the multiple colors assigned using colors attribute ? If there is no attribute for it , is there any work around way to achieve it? . I searched the resource , but was not able to find any attribute.

Will VML accept colors being specified in rgba notation or any other color notation including Alpha(transparency) value too ? I tried providing rgba colors it did not work , is there any way to achieve this.
