I am using UpdateDriverForPlugAndPlayDevices function to install a device driver on a Win Vista PC. The function returns an error, which is expected to occur since in Vista, a reboot is required to completely install the driver. Unfortunately, it takes a lot of time for the function to return (5-6 mins).
