I have found following fancy behaviour: when I create new recurring appointment from Outlook and set recurrence pattern as "Daily - every weekday" OR "Weekly - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday", I've got the same recurrence pattern from EWS which is WeeklyRecurrencePatternType and NOT DailyRecurrencePatternType. So actually I can't distinguish between this two types of patterns. How can I do this with EWS??? I understand that it is the same, but I should know what exactly user had chosen: Daily with every weekday pattern or Weekly with Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.

P.S. I use EWS, Exchange 2007 SP2, MS Outlook 2007 SP1

The only way to define a recurrence pattern for "Every weekday" in EWS is to use WeeklyRecurrencePatternType. DailyPatternType can only be used to define a recurrence where each occurrence happens N day after the previous one.

In other words, there is no way to distinguish the two in EWS.
