Hi all,
         If i am creating an commerce site in which i want to add produc image , where i have to store the images... whether i has to store in my application code (such as in Visual studio by adding an folder and then store all product images on it and get it in my asp page)  or i have to store them in mssql.... is it possible in commerce server to save images in mssqlserver ???

Hi,

Out of the box Commerce Server does not handle the storage of images, but simply a property against the product with a URL to them. The SharePoint application actually stores images in a list, not in Commerce Server. I personally store my images in the new SQL 2008 file store, and reference them against the product id. I access them via a handler that resizes them for me.
So really it is upto you on where your store your images, and simply just reference the URL back to the product/variant property in Commerce Server.
