I need to add help to an application in Visual Studio 2010. I've been doing circles the last few days searching and playing with tools like Microsoft HTML Help Workshop and HelpStudio Lite to create a help file. I can't seem to find any good info or tutorial to help me accomplish this. I keep running into issues. So I have a few questions that would help me out a ton!!

1. Is a .chm file outdated? Should I be using a newer format?
