I am not able to create a content pane in visual studio 2015 community edition.After creating the project it is showing like this

and not asking for app type.

Hi vanikalyani,

First go to "Apps" option under "Office/Sharepoint".

then select "App for Office".

click on "Ok". then it will ask you options like below.

then you can select Content Addin type.

if your Visual Studio is not showing you the option to create App for office then you can try to install the latest Office Developer Tools and try again.
