Have you checked CS 2007 starter site. It has the feature that you are looking for.


For example, Instead of somepage.aspx?producID=abcdef, it gives nice Url as http://localhost/StarterSite/Products/Adventure+Works+Catalog/PID-AW074-04.aspx where "Adventure Work Catalog" is the catalog name and AW07404 is the product ID. If you want, you can extend it and create your own format like "http://localhost/StarterSite/Products/Adventure+Works+Catalog/Boots/Dunes.aspx
