From my application (using WPF), I enabled drag and drop  in the following formats .
DataFormats.Text and DataFormats.Html
I added the required strings for the above formats to the DataObject and provided the dataObject to DragDrop.DoDragDrop

I am able to drop on
1. wordpad and  windows Live messenger - (what ever I have given in DataFormats.Text)
2. MSWord 2007 (what ever I have given in DataFormats.HTML)

But I am not able to Drop on MS Office communicator 2007.  It shows the blocked glyph.
If DataFormats.HTML is not supported, it should atleast allow drop of what ever is in DataFormats.Text . But that is not happening. I have disabled Intelligent IM filtering after reading some posts, Yet the same results.

Am I missing something ??

I don't know for sure, but I suspect that OC supports cut/paste but not drag and drop.
