Hi

I have create a very simple Contact application with LS and trying to deploy it to the Windows Azure using my free trial.

I am pretty confident that all the instructutions have been followed in the guide show on the LS Develper web page, however, I get the error message, "Could not connect to Windows Azure using provide Subscription ID and certification".

To summarise,

1) I have checked the Subscription ID several times.

2) The certification has been added in the Window Azure Portal using the Copy Path button.  The certificate is also showing up in the drop down.

3) The certification is showing up as being created under my Windows Azure portal

Any ideas what could be the reason for the connectivity failure?

Hi,

I just followed this blog post with a newly created Azure trial account. Everything seems to be working for me. You might want to make sure you set up the database server correctly to allow LightSwitch to connect to it.
