I'd like to make a chart widget on a dashboard which includes Time Spent, Time Remaining, and State

However as far as I can tell, I can only pick one

This means I can't have a graph or pie chart which shows anything but Original Estimate with the Active tasks highlighted

It seems so limited I think I must be doing something wrong?

You could choose stacked bar or Pivot table, these two charts could include two options, Y-axi and Group by.

Pie, bar and column charts could only group by one column.
