我们的应用程序使用ADO.Net Entity Framework 1.0 Sql server 2008 compact editon和WPF。

我们使用ADO.NET Entity framework 1.0在VS2008中创建了实体模型。 Eveything在VS2008中运行良好。

现在我们计划转向VS2010。我们将整个应用程序拉入VS2010。 在构建整个应用程序期间，我们使用〜.edmx获得以下构建错误

错误175：在配置中找不到指定的商店提供程序，或者无效。

如果我们打开实体数据模型设计模式并关闭它，则错误175消失。

Our application uses ADO.Net Entity Framework 1.0 Sql server 2008 compact editon and WPF.

We have created the entity model in VS2008 by using ADO.NET Entity framework 1.0. Eveything works fine in VS2008.

Now we plan to move to VS2010. We pull whole application into VS2010.  During build the whole application, we get the following build error with ~.edmx

Error 175: The specified store provider cannot be found in the configuration, or is not valid.

If we open the Entity data model design mode, and close it, the Error 175 goes away.

If we build the application again, the error 175 displays again. We still can run the application without problems.

We do not know what causes this error in VS2010 IDE building the Entity Framework 1.0 dagta model.

Does anyone has any clue?

Please refer to my reply in that thread.   I will keep the two thread in the same page.   Does the issue occur in any new project win EF on SQL CE created in VS2008?    If it is convenient, would you mind sending me a demo VS2008 project for further investigation?   My mail: [e-mail].
