Hi. Ms Office URI Schemes does not work on Sharepoint.

e.g link: ms-word:ofe|u|http://MyWebsite/MyDocment.docx can not be set in Sharepoint 2013 website, because during page saving Sharepoint shows a message: "ms-word:ofe|u|http://MyWebsite/MyDocment.docx is not a proper link. Link must start with http://, https://, file//, mailto: etc.".

The same link build in word document or excel spreadsheet works well.

To open office document in SharePoint, we need to add the URI with <a> html tag in content editor web part like below:

<a href="ms-excel:ofe|u|http://sps2013/sites/team/Shared%20Documents/test.xlsx">test</a>

Then clicked the link, it will open the file in office application.
