I posted this question in the Office365 for Admins forum and was told to repost it here by the admin.

Our friends in IT organized a process whereby my department's shared mailbox receives 300 emails per day, each with a PDF attachment.

Right now, I don't have the authority to force the process to be changed.

I need a rule/app/something in Office365 online/Outlook Web App  to automatically save the PDF attachments to a specific SharePoint directory.

For some reason, our friends in IT aren't willing to assist. Is this a particularly difficult request?

My programming background includes VB.net and Java building fairly simple client based applications and VBA for automating tasks in Office. No server side experience at all but willing to learn if anyone can point the way.

Any direction to references that will help me understand this would be appreciated.

It is impossible. There is no such built-in function to achieve this. For customizing Outlook web app, we could try Office Add-ins, but there is no such function to save the attachments.
