I'd like to be able to copy the font file into Windows, hopefully before GWES.EXE launches. Using this approach, CE would just pickup the font that it finds there. Currently, my device's startup sequence is:
20 - devices.exe

From what I've read, gwes.exe is the process that handles the font files, so I need to move the font file into position before it runs. So, I added the lines for a Launch25/Depends25 for my little copy utility. However, when I make these changes, my device no longer boots - it hangs on the copy utility. The catch is that it is on my device's CF card.

The card shows up after your bus driver finds it and loads the driver. This is non (or not so) deterministic realitive to the the Init key.

One way to solve this would be to copy the font to the Windows folder later and call AddFontResource()
