I just upgraded my workstation to Windows 8.1 and installed Office x86 as usual and registered the apps. All apps open; however if I try to view or modify my VBA code in any app it completely hangs and I must manually stop the process.

I have tried: 1: repair office 2: completely remove and reinstall office 3: run a registry scan 4: rebooted several times.

Since I am a developer and this is the machine I use at work I have no access to any of my code at work.

I have this issue with Outlook specifically.  Excel, Word, Access all work fine, but Outlook always hangs as you describe.  This has been going for years and I've tried everything I could think of with no luck.
