Hey

since two days I try to figure out whats going wrong with my Kinect v2 setup.

Luckily my Laptop (Lenovo IdeaPad y570) has a build in Renesas USB 3.0 Host Controller... which according to this Thread is supported by the Kinect v2.

According to my Device-Manager nothing else is connected to the relevant PCI-Express port on which the USB 3.0 Controller is based on

I can't figure out why the kinect configuration verifier still gives me "insufficient bandwidth" error. 
According to this thread, I should try to disconnect any other devices sharing the same resources.. but there is none :(

Is the chipset connected to a PCI Express 2.0 bus? I am not sure of the age of the system, but if this came out before the USB3 spec was finalized, we found that some manufacturers had wired USB3 to the PCI Express slot which is not capable of transmitting a sustained 5.0GB/s required for USB3. I have a similar issue with a Dell XPS 1702 system.
