Hi Everyone,

I just got my Kinect v2 and hooked it up to my Asus UX303L.  I ran the Kinect v2 Configuration Verifier  and everything was good except the USB Controller Test get the infamous result "Supported USB 3.0 port detected with unknown bandwidth. Kinect may or may not be compatible with your hardware."  Additionally some of the SKD samples work and others do not.

I have read many threads in this forum and have some follow up questions to resolve this:

 First - Check that the USB3 Host controller chip is supported

-          I checked against the list posted in this forum and chipsets with Intel USB 3.0 eXtreme controller seem to be OK

 Second – Check  that no other devices are sharing bandwidth with that connection

-          How do you do this?

 Third – Assuming my bandwidth is being shared how can I turn off the devices that are connected to the USB3 Host Controller so that I just have the one USB3 port active to use with the Kinect.

what do you mean by "SKD samples work and others do not." If color and depth are working and running at 30fps, then the issue is not USB, it is your graphics card. Have you checked to ensure you are running the latest drivers for your GPU?
