I have recently purchased a Kinect v2 for the purposes of 3D scanning. However I have installed the SDK onto my Lenovo x510 win 8 erazer computer but can't seem to open any of the Kinect applications. When I do to the Kinect configuration verifier the depth and colour streams work fine and I can see a photographic image and also a depth sensor image. However the usb controller says check you usb controllers for Kinect for windows compatibility Result: Supported usb 3.0 port detected with unknown bandwidth, Kinect may or may not be compatible with your hardware. Please help
