I am using MS project 2010. I need to set material availability date in my project so that while selecting resource (material) for a  task,  start date of task should automatically be sync with material availability date.

Hi Utkarsh,

Sorry tpo say, there is no such thing as material availability date in Project. Matter of fact, material resources never ever influence task schedules, at least not directly.

要解决您的问题，您可以创建一个"物质X"的任务。并将其链接到需要材料的任务。供应任务的约束将同步工作任务。

To solve your problem, you can create a task "suply of material X" and link that to the task needing the material. The constraint of the supply task will then sync the work task.
