I'm an IT student, currently doing my thesis, LAN Chat System w/ Voice Chat and File Sharing, is it possible to have Voice Chat using only LAN (Local Area Network) and does not need any Internet Access?

Why wouldn't it work?? There's nothing special about the Internet compared to a local network. They both carry TCP/IP traffic the same. There's nothing special you have to do. The code would be the same.
