I've modified the Livesource example to record from my webcam rather than doing a screen capture. It works fine but I get a lot of background white noise on the sound recording.

I have set the video = nothing i.e. I just record the sound and I get no white noise.

What kind of devices are you getting your audio and your video from? Does this happen every time with that audio and any video or only a specific video source? Also your system specs might help.
