I followed the install instructions but when I put the SD card in the Pi it gets stuck on a screen with the words Graphics Console Started, then nothing. It's been half an hour so I don't think it's going to get any further :( Any advice?

Same problem with me. I tried made SD card twice. still black screen, but sd card format to 4 partitions.
