When I run the sharing content target sample app (C# version), an exception is thrown at line 99 of MainPage.xaml.cs: An exception of type 'System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException' occurred in System.Runtime.WindowsRuntime.dll but was not handled in user code WinRT information: Invoke request processing error. Additional information: Invalid window handle. The line does this: Window.Current.Content = this;

 

Is there a workaround or fix for this?               

I asked the same question in the Q&A tab of the page that describes the sample, but so far I've seen no response. Does Microsoft monitor the Q&A tabs of the samples?

What are the steps you used to reproduce this?

It is working fine for me with the following steps:

1. Build & run sample from Visual Studio Express
2. Bring up IE10
3. Select Sharing charm
4. Select the Share Target Sample App
5. The Share Target Sample App displays data about the shared data
6. Push Report Completed in the sample app.

Can you reproduce the problem if you clear out the existing package and rebuild and deploy the sample?
