I have a report where the user chooses certain parameters at runtime and based on those parameters, certain fields in the header are made invisible. However, this causes the "body" of the report to move up when it is run (as opposed to when the fields are displayed). I want the report centered in the middle regardless of whether those header fierlds are invisible or not (double checked the fields and Canshrink is set to false).

What am I missing?

I suspect that the text in your header textbox is overrunning it's horizontal boundaries and is wrapping vertically. This seems to increase the header height when the configured header height is too small to accomodate the wrapped text. So when those texts don't exist, the header height reverts back to the configured height.
