If I upgrade from A5 to D12_V2, D12_V2 says it gets 200GB Local SSD. How is this implemented? Does just C: disk get upgraded to SSD while T: disk stays the same? I need speed on the C: disk. Are there any complications to be aware of before upgrading?

I'm fairly new to Azure. I have an A5. It's slow when all 6 users are on using QB. Yes. It's an RDP server for QB. The CPU, Ram, and Disk usages are all extremely high. C: uses 86GB. T: uses 105GB. If I upgrade to D12_V2, I'm concerned there isn't enough space. Will it fit?

Hello Michael. The Local SSD is referring to the Temporary Disk, which is automatically mounted to your D: Drive. Be aware that data on this drive is NOT PERSISTANT, so you will lose any data on reboots. 

如果要将OS磁盘(C :)更新为SSD，则首先需要将VM调整为支持SSD的大小，例如DS12_V2. D12_V2不支持高级存储.在调整为DS系列VM的大小之前，请先停止VM.

If you would like to update your OS Disk (C:) to an SSD, you will first need to resize your VM to a size that supports SSD, such as a DS12_V2. the D12_V2 does not support premium storage. Stop your VM before resizing to a DS series VM.

Once you have resized the VM, you will be able to resize your Disk to Premium. While the VM is stopped, navigate to the managed attached disk that you would like to change, and change the "Account Type" to Premium SSD. Once this finishes, start your VM.
