Updated to the latest version of 8.1 yesterday and this morning have found a pink line running vertically along the screen. I did the update last night and the line wasn't there, it wasn't there first thing this morning and only appeared either during or after using My Commute this morning. Nokia have suggested I post on here to see if anyone else has experienced this.

The vertical line running down your screen sounds like it's a hardware issue with the screen panel itself. We have seen issues like this arise with all versions of Windows Phone 8's, it's not specific to the version of the OS running on the phone.

There are some bits of information that can help us narrow this down:

• If you restart the phone, how quickly does the pink line appear? As soon as the screen turns on?
• Does the line show when the phone is locked? Does it show on the glance screen?
• What is the make and model of the phone?
• When did you upgrade to Windows Phone 8.1 Developer Preview?
• How long after the update did this start happening?
• Have you already reset your phone to see if the issue goes away?
