What's the best way to download attachments included in the test cases? We have been including attachments from the test runner. When we export the test suite and select the attachments option (Test Suite>Export), the export doesn't include the attachments. However, if the attachments are added after execution (not from test runner), and then export they do appear in the export. Also, we would like to know how to export all attachments included in a test suite at once. We often send screenshots documenting test results to client.

Thank you for posting here.

The default export feature cannot export the attachment from test result (Latest test outcome), it just can export the attachments which added for test case but not test run. But it will export the test result link when select ‘latest test outcome’ during the exporting. You can find the attachments by the link.

Actually , you can try to download the test result attachments by REST API, please see Download a test result attachment for more information.

In addition, if you are using TFS 2017 Update1 or VSTS, you can try the extension Enhanced Export PRO, it can export test steps, test results, test results attachments, shared steps and parameters.
