我正在使用Fusion explorer来构建6 x 6英寸动物的3d对象。


当传感器静止时,它显示大约5 FPS。在相机周围移动相机时,应用程序显示15-20 FPS,图像总是波动,不反映对象的真实位置..

I am using Fusion explorer to construct 3d object of 6 x 6 inches animal.

When sensor is static, it shows around 5 FPS. When moving camera around the object, app shows 15-20 FPS and the image is always fluctuating, not reflecting the true position of the object..

When I click on generate mesh, it shows 3d object of last position only.

Is this the correct behavior of Fusion or does it need to stitch all frames to reconstruct 3d object ?

1. How to create a 3d object using Fusion  explorer ? By moving camera around the object.

2. Why Fusion is showing 5 FPS when sensor is in static position and when moving round goes upto 20 FPS ? (Capture color is enabled).

3. Why Fusion is not displaying the correct image when moving round the object ?

4.  Why my USB 3.0 is not compatible with Kinect ? Is there something wrong with Kinect SDK ?

As for performance, Kinect Fusion is relies heavily on the GPU for compute functions which the GTX 475 is not capable of handling. It is recommended a NVidia GeForce GTX680 or AMD Radeon HD 7850 or higher, just to handle core functionality of Kinect Fusion at 30fps operation.

As for your USB3 issues, see the troubleshooting. We only support Intel or Renesas chipsets and the host controller cannot be used with other devices. Use the Kinect Configuration Verifier(KCV) to test your system is capable of using Kinect for Windows v2.
