I updated and all was well but I don't live in the US and I saw that if you don't live in the US you could change your region to the US and you would be able to get Cortana. Any help guys for those who live outside US and have cortana?

you should set your language, region, and speech to English (United States) in the settings (even if you don't live in the US). After a restart of your phone you should find Cortana in the app list.
