I'm not surprised, DOS isn't supported anymore. ;-)

You'll need to be a lot more specific. As written, your statement
could be seen as referring to one (or more) of the following.

You're using the freeware DOSBox (or equivalent) to run 16-bit DOS
(Real Mode) programs under Windows, and it's not accepting keyboard
input.

You're actually using a "DOS box" - that is, a computer with DOS installed
as the operating system. e.g. - An old version of MS-DOS, PC-DOS or DR-DOS,
or a recent version of Free-DOS, and it's not accepting keyboard input.

You're using a Virtual DOS Machine (VDM) such as ntvdm.exe... etc.

You're doing something in a console window under a 32-bit or 64-bit version
of Windows, and it's not accepting keyboard input. Note that a console
window under Win32/Win64 is actually part of the 32/64 bit OS and has
nothing to do with DOS.

You also need to be less vague about where and when the console input
doesn't work. Is it in the VS IDE? Or in one or more of your own programs?
Or all of the time on your computer? etc.
