The JavaScript api's for Windows Store API's can use the same WinRT components used for the Xaml samples. Understand that this is not for web browser development since these are stand alone Windows Store applications.

If you need support for browser based applications, we currently do not have support for pure javascript/html5 applications. There is a sample from the v1 SDK with full source, that can be ported to support this, but currently is not planned in the near term. If you are experience with .Net and understand WebSockets, you could probably take the sample and work on porting certain features.
