I updated an HTC 8S to GDR3 and have not been able to download or install app updates since. Downloads and upates both get stuck in the 'download pending' state. Where all I can do is cancel the download if I long press on it. The phone doesn't have a SIM card, but is connected to Wi-Fi. I can verify that the Wi-Fi connection works by accessing the store and navigating to the internet in IE.

I've tried soft reseting the phone a few times, and canceling and restarting the app downloads. I may try a hard reset soon.

Thank you for posting to the forum regarding the issue you are having updating and installing apps.  I have seen some reports of this happening along with issues using other features of the preview.  One thing that resolved this issue for others was to install a new language keyboard to the phone.

You can do this by going to settings > keyboard > add keyboards.  Add any additional language keyboard to the phone.  Once this is done, restart your phone and try the app downloads and updates again.
